Writing Tracker Oct 3-Oct 13

 So, I decided to use DIYMFA's writing tracker for ten days... and this is how it turned out. This is what my writing looks like in a ten day spread.

October 3, 2020	Home Office	~3000	7:09-9:01	Working on revising AB #2—it amazes me how gory I got for a class project. Still, this is a fun project and I do enjoy seeing Matt in a situation where he is not the villain.
October 3, 2020	Home Office	122	9:20-9:26	Journaling—something I do every night and very rarely think about as writing, but I guess it is, huh.
October 4, 2020	Home Office	n/a	11:17-11:24	Outlining SKWC #2—this is going to be an interesting one to rewrite. I’m not sure how… actually good this is? I really enjoy how the series turns out as a whole but MORPH SUIT MURDERER is by far the weakest.
October 4, 2020	Home Office	n/a	12:10-12:17	Outlining Like Hell—I feel like this is going to turn into another crime-y novella, which wouldn’t be too bad. I do love how this one turned out, though, at least on the first run-through. I’ll probably end up cutting the music subplot near the end, tho.
October 4, 2020	Home Office	182	7:44-	Journaling—I think making myself go for three paragraphs a night is really helping me not blow journaling off. I mean, it’s at least three paragraphs, if there’s more I’ll do more, but I really think it’s doing good things.
October 5, 2020	Home Office	74	7:33 PM-7:37 PM	Journaling—did not feel like journaling tonight, tbh. Even the ‘three paragraph’ rule didn’t bring much out.
October 6, 2020	Home Office	359	8:10 PM-8:30 PM	Blog post—reaction to Eddie van Halen’s death. </3
October 6, 2020	Home Office	N/A	8:51 PM-8:58 PM	Outlining SKWC#2—we have some action going on here now, and we added another POV—we’ll see how this goes on the rewrite.
October 6, 2020	Home Office	116	9:03 PM—9:-8 PM	Journaling—mostly a reaction to EVH death, because that’s all I can think about right now.
October 7, 2020	Home Office	N/A	5:19 PM-5:27 PM	Outlining SKWC#2—interesting shit going down here. We’re almost to the end of the outlining process on this one!
October 7, 2020	Home Office	90	8:36 PM-8:41 PM	Journaling—not as much motivation to do more than scrawl down some quick thoughts/what I did today things.
October 8, 2020	Home Office	264	????	Blog post—talked about NaNo, which I am very very very pumped for. Excited to do a new first draft!

October 8, 2020	Home Office	112	8:50-8:56	Journaling—it was a good day! Creatively, professionally; a very good day, and so there wasn’t exactly much to complain about :o)
October 9, 2020	Home Office	N/A	6:28PM-6:49 PM	Outlining the second half of Vendettic#2—I’m interested to see how the two fit together as one book rather than two books. We’ll see how it goes, we’ve got some interesting stuff!
October 9, 2020	Home Office	102	8:17 PM-8:22 PM	Journaling—not much happened today. It was a quiet, slow day and that reflects in the journal entry.
October 10, 2020	Home Office	1503	5:00-5:21	Typing up HORROR AT CAMP NEW WOODS—honestly, all of this shit really does just enforce that probably someone should get Matt to therapy STAT because tbh, he’s a bullying asshole in OMSS but if we put this in as part of the Aughts Boys universe, holy shit, Matt.
October 10, 2020	Home Office	142	9:50PM-9:57 PM	Journaling—listening to a new band tonight; never heard of Palaye Royale before but they came up on recommended after my MGK playlist and I’m really digging it? It did help with my journaling, I think; there is something about finding a new band that I’m just enamored with, so that’s pretty great. Today in general was pretty average, so there was nothing extreme in that regard.
October 11, 2020	Home Office	2685	1:30PM-2:43 PM	Working on typing up AB#2—it’s honestly giving me some ideas for Matt post-graduation, or post his book, even—I don’t know if it’ll ever make it into anything or if Matt’s eventual fate will stay vague, but it’s giving me, personally, a little bit of closure.
October 11, 2020	Home Office	306	6:05 PM-6:23 PM	Just a little typing up of AB#2 while waiting for D&D to get started.

October 12, 2020	Home Office	1448	7:06PM-7:31PM	Typing up on AB#2—we’re getting close to the end, and this is 100% a novella. Since it stands on its own pretty easily, maybe I can put it towards the novella bindup, too?
October 12, 2020	Home Office	94	8:09 PM-8:14 PM	Journaling—we’re in a WM3 mood tonight, folks, so we listened to Sanitarium and talked about that for the most part.
