Book Read! Haikyu! 8 by Haruichi Furudate

I'm starting to think that vol 6 was just a fluke, or I was just reading it in a bad state of mind or something, because this was absolutely fantastic. I loved this book. I love that we got some of Yamaguchi in there and I'm excited to see them grow, Sugawara has my whole heart... so sad that I don't have vol 9 or have a way to get vol 9 in the near future. I'm gonna suffer.

Book Read! The Gravity of Us by Phil Stamper

This book stressed me out, man, but by the end I was grinning hard it was so cute. I thought the main character was interesting, definitely flawed, definitely had some relatable aspects--I think this book was really hyped before it came out but then I never heard anything about it afterward, which is a shame.

Book Read! High School Debut 1 by Kazune Kawahara

So, due to my feeling that, I don't need to read manga in order like a crazy person, I am deep into this series. And this was, yes, my first time reading the first book. God it's so fucking cute.

Book Read! In the Dark by Richard Laymon

Unironically, this might be the best book by Richard Laymon that I have read, and I've read a good handful at this point. Maybe it was because we didn't get a sleazy POV from the villain, maybe it's because, while there was quite a bit of gross shit, there wasn't as much as usual (and man, I do love the gross shit, I wouldn't continue reading Laymon if I didn't)... I don't know. I liked how the main character got kind of caught up in all the games for a while, because to be honest, he was giving her a ton of money?? Like even by today's standards, holy shit. Also dug the weird random cannibalistic house. And Brace, while incredibly stupidly named, was also like, completely useless, and I kind of liked that. Kind of wish the ending had been better, though.

So, it's 2019. There are a few questions to ask. What did I do last year? I started this blog, and posting regularly.  A part of me wants to say, fuck it, we're closing this blog down. I, honestly, do not think about this blog often. I, honestly, do not even consider crossposting my videos to here anymore.
