TINON
The kings and
queens of Tinon used to be great.
These are the
words that Alessandra Vasilei, newly appointed heir to the throne, has soaked
up her entire life. She’s read stories of them going into battle, saving their
countries, and doing more than sitting around in the palace. But it’s peaceful
now, and there are no battles to be won—so when she’s crowned the heir to the
throne over her twin sister, Alessandra needs to find a different way to prove
her worth, and she finds it in the circus, and the poor treatment of
‘Birdies”—human-like bird people used for entertainment.
Enter Kai, Alessandra’s less-than-traditional guard. If there’s anyone that can sneak her out of the palace, it’s him. But when the two of them get separated upon escaping the palace, Alessandra will need to find the circus and rescue the Birdies herself, and, maybe, find herself worthy of the crown.

Book Two: Royal BloodSOLON is about to finish training, and when the chance to be the Heir's personal guard appears, he jumps at it. Not only will it keep him in the palace, but getting closer to Alessandra means getting closer to Evander, and Solon needs to get close to Evander.
JIN doesn't have much hope for Kichiro--the man couldn't convince a girl to marry him if his life depended on it. But Tinon is an interesting country, with interesting people--and more than that, Tinon is where a woman abandoned Jin's half-brother, Kai, years ago. He knows it's a long shot, but with a father back home who needs closure, he's willing to try and ask around.
But nothing is quite as it seems. As the three dance around each other, plots grow, eyes are lost, and princes and princesses alike betrayed--what is really going on in Tinon?
Solon, meanwhile, is running a race against time--his aim is to get home, to his mother, but with an increasingly hurt traveling partner, it's getting complicated. And there's the question of who he can trust--who knows that he was the one who killed Prince Evander? Who won't turn him over to Alessandra without a second thought?
Meanwhile, Caitriona, stuck in the palace, is stuck in days of perpetual boredom and worry. Kichiro hasn't asked her to do anything she doesn't want to... yet. But the threat looms.
As circumstances and fate draw them together, one thing is certain: someone must pay to what has been done to Prince Evander Aulavis.
